Why we picked this deal

Kohler 20kW RCA standby generator listed below MSRP at Nationwide Generators

The Kohler 20RCA is a 20kW air-cooled standby generator that runs on LP or natural gas, built around a Kohler CH1000 V-twin engine with PowerBoost voltage regulation. It suits households that want quiet, automatic backup for heating, cooling and major appliances.

Nationwide Generators lists it at 5699 against an MSRP of 5813. A transfer switch is sold separately (the store offers a Kohler RXT 200A switch as an add-on), and installation and permits are extra. The page estimates factory-direct shipping in 5-6 weeks.
