Why we picked this deal

Generac 22kW Guardian standby unit gets a modest markdown at A&A Power

Generac's model 7042 is a 22kW (LP) / 21kW (NG) air-cooled home standby generator with the Evolution controller, Mobile Link monitoring and a Quiet-Test self-test mode. It's aimed at homeowners who want whole-home-scale backup on natural gas or propane.

The price is 5999, down from 6119, a small 2% saving. This listing is the generator only: a transfer switch, battery, installation and permits are extra.
