Why we picked this deal

DuroStar DS8000iX dual fuel inverter drops $600 at DuroMax

The DuroStar DS8000iX is an open-frame inverter generator that runs on gasoline or propane, rated 8,000 peak and 6,500 running watts on gas (7,600/6,175 on propane). It has 120/240V output, electric, recoil and remote start, a CO sensor shutdown and an included propane hose and regulator, which suits home backup more than tailgating.

DuroMax lists it at a sale price with the regular price shown alongside; no code is needed. The listing notes it is not for sale to California.
